2006 Committee
It is time to look ahead to the coming years. The club has had many new members recently, but the committee reflects thise who have been here for a long time.
Many are happy to be replaced with people with fresh ideas and time to give to the club.
Are you interested in being a committee member?
Are you enthusiastic about our club?
Do you have a small amount of time and energy a month to attend meetings and contribute to planning and projects to take the club forward?
If so, please email info@reading-canoe.org.uk and find out more.
Access System Upgrade!
All, Please note after deliberation and much personal suffering the key-card access system that we use has been upgraded.
Although you will not see any change on the face on things there have been many improvements behind the scenes. Most importantly we now have a maintenance contract with a local firm – Gemtec.
For those waiting for key-cards the wait is over! Please get in touch with me.
Due to the arcane nature of the original system some of the old key-cards don’t work, so please test it and contact me if necessary.
The following rules apply for the new system
- New Members / No Previous Card: £25 deposit
- Previous lost/stolen/damaged *: £10 replacement fee
- Previous Failure: No charge for replacement
* e.g. You sat on it, crushed it in a door or used it force open the boat shed door
Dan.
