Thameside Promenade, Reading, south bank of the Thames, upstream of Caversham Bridge. Follow signs to Reading town centre, then signs for Caversham. Canoe Race signs will be seen near Caversham Bridge.

HASLER TROPHY
Hasler points will be awarded in accordance with BCU rules. (except lightening class)
ENTRY FEES
- Seniors £5.00 per seat.
- Juniors £4.00 per seat (This covers Thames licence, car parking)
- Lightening/Hody £2.00
- Late entries will be charged an extra £2.00 per seat.
BCU members should remember to have with them their BCU Thames licence, issued this year as part of your BCU membership. If you have not received your Licence then you must make sure you carry with you, during the race ,your membership card.
Entrants who are not BCU members, or entrants, who do not prove membership, will be charged £4.00 for an Event Ticket and Thames licence.

COMPETITORS SHOULD NOTE THAT
Please make sure that you indicate clearly the category you are competing in as well as the division.
- Juniors must be aged under 18 on 1st January 2006
- Veterans must be aged over 35 on 1st January 2006
Buoyancy aids are compulsory for all division 7, 8, 9 whether in a K2 or not and recommended for all under the age of 16. Team leaders have the discretion for team member’s aged 16+ years.

The Race will be run in accordance with the rules in the Canoe Racing Handbook 2006

Vertical numberplates must be used.

This is a River Thames race, cabin cruisers and other craft will be frequently encountered. RULES OF THE RIVER MUST BE OBSERVED.

All entries must be received by Saturday 27th May 2006 otherwise a late entry fee will be charged.

BCU cards or photocopies must be sent with entry.

RCC and its nominated officials cannot be held responsible for any loss of life, limb or equipment however caused.
