Novemeber Training Weekend 2002

November 9-10 Winter Training Weekend

The first winter training weekend will be used as a base assessment for Senior Men and Ladies Kayaks. Coaches will be conducting testing both on and off the water. These tests will be repeated on 1st and 2nd March 2003. The purpose of the testing will be to determine base fitness and strength levels at the start of the winter training period and to measure improvements through the winter.

Following the March testing weekend coaches will determine if there are any non programmes athletes who should be included in the Seville pre season training camp.

The November testing weekend is open to none programme athletes. All Performance and Potential programme athletes must attend. The March testing will be for Potential programme athletes and is again open to none programme athletes.
